They are trying to turn private prisons into shelters... What we need is an investigation into money from the private prisons industry into the hands of judges and politicians. Always follow the money. This is a very dangerous law not only because human beings shouldn't be treated like criminals because they have to sleep... This is literally a crime against humanity. Recently a FL homeless man was paralyzed by the police because they decided to arrest him for sleeping on the streets. They chained him up (he wasn't even resisting arrest), threw him in the back of their truck without securing him... They purposely threw him around during the ride while he was belly chained, and he ended up paralyzed. He was doing nothing more than sleeping on the streets.

im sure its a lot tougher for the people whose lands were taken away / demolished in the first place, and then become 2nd class citizens in their own birth country and experience humiliating detainments and harassment by military check points. those arent settlements on barren unused land. those are colonies and population replacement.

It's disingenuous for a journalist from New York to draw parallels between homelessness issues outside of the 9th Circuit's jurisdiction in comparison with the Grants Pass case before the Supreme Court. I don't see anyone outside of the 9th Circuit's jurisdiction advocating that their States laws be changed to allow the dysfunction we see on the West Coast. What we see on the West Coast is jurisdictions outside of the 9th Circuit's jurisdiction enacting laws and policies addressing issues of misuse of public spaces and forcing their citizens to migrate to the West Coast where individuals are protected by the Martin v Boise decision. Regardless, if the Supreme Court rules against Grants Pass the rest of the United States will be forced to accommodate the decision put forward in Martin v Boise and that may take pressure off the West Coast to accommodate other States problems.

The true Americans need to take their country back!

Its amazing how much distruction governments are willing to do, to areas they claim to care about. Putin claims that there a native Russians living in these areas that he's trying to bring back under Russia. How much is going to be left of these areas once the Russian military is done with it. Come the 20th century and it became about class. Pretend to care about poor people, while at the same time, enacting policy's which will keep them in a poverty state. Why would anyone who works in the social services industry, want these people to do better. Than it would mean they would be out of a job or have far fewer people working in their organization. The politicians & bureaucrats don't really want solutions, they want power & control. We have spent over 30 trillion on LBJs Great Society programs since the mid 60s and poverty is no better, but we have a destruction of the tradition family in many locations. Also 10 billion has been spent on homeless programs in California alone between 2018-2021. The results, unchanged in some areas and an increase in other cities. Where is all this money going, besides feeding a bloated bureaucracy.
